A new beginning
I am really very sorry for posting some really boring posts in my blog. (I myself felt bored reading it). It gave me a feeling that I was so obsessed with work (at least in my blog. I am now luckily free this year. I will update some of the best things I have come across in my future blogs.
Training at Maruti
I joined Maruti with a pride on 2nd June 08.
We were given a good training schedule. And training is good though I would not rate it best. There was another best thing happened, immediate pay rise by 30%. It was like a real boost to us. I saw a lot of happy faces taking home the cash with a huge smile in hearts.
Training period was the best, we were divided into batches of 20-25 each and we followed a “rotational” training. (getting trained in all the departments). I never expected my training program will include some management development, Time management classes, and training program in MS excel. (when I was in ‘on the job trainng’ under production, I worked with one single excel file for one full month). The best part of my training is the On Board Training. We were take to a very nice place Gym Corbett, a forest, santury famous for tigers. we were served with excellent food as well. we had very adventurous type of sports. I would rate it the best moments in Maruti
The best part of training is also we left at 5: 30 pm everyday. There would be a good number of people who used to stand at the punching machine (for attendance) even 10 minutes before. This was how my first 4 months of training went. We were so bored without work that we started playing NFS in IT department. (Thanks to the person who installed it.
Though the training period for juniors remains the same, they have gone really strict and they have cut the cost wherever required.
